No. Fact is most fans won't remember this match (if it happens) for the ring work of Rollins (or Ambrose or Reigns) because it just won't get the time for that. What they may well remember is the finish which in all likelihood would be a double Spear from Reigns. So Rollins carrying the match...
Sounds about right. Willing to bet they have escape rules on and Goldust gets out but as Cody's about to do the same he decides to go for broke and do the moonsault.
Really doubt she leaves. This is a dream she has been pursuing since she was a child really. And I don't think her and Punk have been together all that long. As for her title reign, she's already become the longest reigning Divas Champion ever so there isn't much left for her to do but lose it...
Problem is Rhodes is past that title now. He has had that big run with it and did well but now he's in a position where winning the IC title is just a demotion. If you do feud Goldust & Cody over a title, it has to be the World Heavyweight Title given their booking since coming back as a team...
I would rather they used Cena to bring up the prestige of the World Heavyweight Championship and have an up-and-comer beat Cena for the title in a few months to give them a big rub and then maintain the strong booking of the WHC with said person as champion.
All I heard was every time JBL went after Cody, Cody found a way to own the guy. Not a reflection of either of their skills but Rhodes doesn't have that much reason to be heated in his response. He and his brother are Tag Champs and Triple H didn't strip them of their titles. He said what needed...
Yes. That's about the best I can say about that. Main Event doesn't really serve much purpose while NXT would be a great exhibition for future talent. As for the user asking whether NXT would beat TNA's ratings, yes it probably would to be honest.
Who's to say we can't have both? In the past couple of years, the World Heavyweight Championship matches at Wrestlemania have been underwhelming at best. Having Cody and Goldust fight for the title would be a great match for that title but also for the brothers as they'd get a main event match...
I have a couple of qualms. Firstly, it's the way it is presented, with both being faces. If Goldust is to ultimately put over Cody the best way for him to do that is to turn heel and shun the Goldust character to become Dustin Rhodes. So the story you presented although compelling I'm not...
Well I've been watching WWE on-and-off the past year really so in all honesty I probably would stop watching wrestling altogether. I'm not invested enough anymore to watch TNA or any other company so yeah I'd stop watching. I'm about 70% there already :p
I think One Night Stand '06 takes the cake. The hostility there was simply unmatched. If Cena had won, the guy probably would have got stabbed! It was that hostile there. Very intimidating and I only saw it on TV! Can't imagine the situation if you'd have been there and frankly didn't care about...
He's a bit player but he's involved somewhat. Bryan's the main character and they seem to be looking to make Rhodes another major player. Miz will be alongside Ziggler and Christian as bit part players.
Maybe, but the name would have to be indicative of the direction they want to go with their product. Doing a rebrand for no real reason (which they did with IMPACT wrestling) doesn't help them. However, if they were to make a legitimate change with a set direction then it could be good for them...
I get the feeling that Rhodes definitely will step up to help Bryan but he won't be the only one. It'll all turn to a full-scale rebellion led by Bryan vs HHH, Orton and The Shield. So you'll have Bryan, Ziggler, Miz, Show/Henry and then Rhodes finally when he returns step up as the 'saviors'...
