When it comes to Nintendo consoles I find that it's more of a case if what they have rather than what they don't.
Games like Pokémon, Zelda and Mario Kart. All unique & never bettered.
If developers can put in the time and imagination that Nintendo themselves do then the lack of power should...
It's a bit of a generalisation but it's difficult to argue against it. The Switch isn't perfect on that front based on what I've read.
And the best games on 3ds are Nintendo or from those closely associated with them.
I'm approaching the third Palace but am enjoying it immensely. This is the first in the franchise that I've played but it's a kind of battle system I really enjoy. Can't believe that I've not given the others a chance.

There's no Journey mode and it apparently plays like a last gen port.
Many third party games have massive save requirements compared to the likes of Zelda & Mario. LA Noire us bigger than the onboard storage by itself.
