The Little Things That Made Wrestling Fun

This will sound like revisionist history, but I miss the build up to classic steel cage matches. I'm talking about way before the debit of Hell in the Cell and Elimination Chamber. For example, I used to look forward to the steel cage matches that used to be on Saturday Night's Main Event. It...

As an old school pro wrestling fan, what would you look forward to?

Have quite a few wrestling memories from way back in the day. I guess the standout was the first WrestleMania I watched (IV). Looking back, yeah it was a horrible show, but back in '93 I thought it was a treat. As far as what I'd normally look forward to, it was always Superstars after Soul...

    Fantasy Basketball

I'll be honest. I think what did me in early on was that night Dame Lillard took off for his kid being born. It was a fun season though. Plus you really didn't miss much this season. Chances are it'll be the same teams in the finals again.

Can't say there wasn't parity in this league.

    Lex Luger dead at 59?

Thanks for the clarification. Found it strange there wasn't a single report on Google. Nor in any wrestling sites.

    Lex Luger dead at 59?

This is why I was curious if there is anything out there. Wiki can be spot on, but it's not the gospel truth. I'd like to know what their source is.

    Lex Luger dead at 59?

Waddup y'all. I just saw a Facebook post in on one of the wrestling groups that I belong to in which someone said "RIP Lex Luger". I went to his Wikipedia page and it says that he passed away yesterday (2/2/18) from a heart attack in his home. I've yet to find any articles that confirms this...

    2018 Oscar Nominations

I read the synopsis on this the other day, and I think the movie is more about the overall failure of the justice system. Didn't see it, nor do I think I will, but I don't think there's much in the racism department in this flick. Could be wrong though.

Impact Loses Everyman Jeremy Borash to WWE

Safe to say I didn't see this coming at all. It's not a death blow to Impact, but this has just about the effect as losing James Storm and EC3. I was unaware of all the jobs that JB has held down over the years, and there's no way one person will be able to fill that void. Maybe they'll pair up...

    2018 Oscar Nominations

I enjoyed Get Out go for what it was, but I can't call it a horror movie. But I would like to see Jordan Peele win for best director. Also, after seeing I , Tonya, I get the feeling that both Margot Robbie and Allison Janney will win in their respective acting categories. As far as Denzel goes...

Empire's Top 20 List For The Greatest Movie Villains Of All Time

I think Jason Voorhees and Chucky should be in the top twenty for sure. Much like Freddy and Michael Myers, both Jason and Chucky had their share of bad sequels. But their mythos remained the same. Truthfully, they both were a part of pop culture throughout the 80's and 90's.

Tenille “Emma” Dashwood Joning Impact for Twitch-Exclusive 'Brace for Impact' Show

Not sure if this signing will help in the long run. I'm not familiar with what she did in WWE, but like IDR, only knew of her from her release. When is she scheduled to debut?

Impact Returning to Four-Sided Ring (Again)

Well praise the Lord that a regular ring is back in Impact. And in six months they'll bring back the hexagon. At this point it doesn't matter what they do, the bleeding continues. You get some new talent in the fold, lose mainstays, and the beat goes on.
