So I wanted to start a thread on the aftermath of the draft but since their already a thread made for the draft I will post my thought on the draft here.
So looking at the whole draft, their wasn't a lot of great move on the draft this year.
Let's start with the women's division: Charlotte moving to smackdown and beck moving to raw is really nothing special. Really all you did it switch you 2 headliners. Outside of that, Carmella moving to raw is nothing special and was mostly done to have her on the same brand as her boyfriend. Liv will probably get buried even more on raw. Mia yim could be a breath of fresh air on raw if they let her actually show up. Bianca on raw is just to continue her feud with Becky and the rest of the women's drafted to raw are just fodder for the top superstar to get some good match out of them or put them on main event. On smackdown, shayna might have a good run on the show, Xia li might get some shine but it's a long shot since they really didn't do anything with Toni storm, who also has been drafted to smackdown, and she a way bigger star then xia. Again the rest is of pick are either women's that were already on the roster or nobody of consequence that won't get push or will be thrown in a tag team pretty quickly.
On to the tag team scene, the only team I could see benefit from this draft is the Viking raiders. Outside of that, maybe hit row but again I'm not getting my hopes up for them.
Has for the rest of the pick, drew will be a big star on smackdown, under Roman reigns. Jeff hardy might get a push and actually something to do on smackdown. The rest is nothing to talk about really.
On a side note, like every year, Kevin Owens and the miz have switch brand yet again which feel like a joke at this point.
So again, the draft went and nothing really excited happened. They had a few NXT call up but I don't see any of them getting a huge push or focus put on them.
