The Boss

'The Boss' Of Pro Wrestling
As a fan of professional wrestling from way back in the 70s I saw a wrestling climb to its height of popularity in the 80s, fall into a rut in the early 90s and serge again in the mid-to-late 90s. Sadly, ever since the period known as the Monday Night War came to an end wrestling has been in a steady decline both in popularity and in quality.

As a result, I found myself getting my wrestling fix on the independent scene. While the quality is definitely a mixed bag as there are many companies that have no business running, trainers who have no business training and wrestlers who have no business in the ring, there is also an abundance of undiscovered talent on the independence scene as well.

Still, my favorite part about the independence scene has to be the fans. While you will never find an independent show that has a crowd the size of Madison Square Garden, the fans that go to Indy events seem to be much more passionate about wrestling then those that go to see WWE, AEW or other companies on television. They're not there to scream out certain catch phrases or get seen by the television camera. Are there to enjoy themselves and be entertained which many in this business seemingly have forgotten how to do.

As a ring announcer, commentator, interviewer, referee and occasionally even a wrestler I have had the privilege to work with a lot of great talent and many Legends over the years. Over the last few years I've even been building my own YouTube channel featuring hundreds of videos of independent wrestling from various promotions that I have worked for over the years. As I said, they may vary in quality both in the ring as well as video production blood, they are always fun for the crowd and that's what's most important.

By the way, if you're a fan of independent wrestling or I've never seen resting on the independent level and would just like to check it out I invite you to subscribe to my official YouTube channel.
