MLW lawsuit against WWE

This was a really shocking news last week. MLW, the little company that nobody talks about and get even less covering on the internet then the NWA is suing WWE.

At first, I was like everybody else, shock and I thought that it took guts on Bauer part to go after WWE like he's doing and then I read the lawsuit that was published on multiple site and didn't make such a big deal about it and thought that unless WWE settle out of court, they're no way MLW is gonna win this case and then I listen to some podcast that explain the lawsuit in detail and it just reinforced my thinking about the whole thing.

Nothing against MLW and Court Bauer but let face it, the antitrust aspect of the lawsuit doesn't have any leg and will be quickly dismissed in court. He would probably have a case if AEW didn't exist but since they exist and nobody in that company, which are real competition for Vince, is willing to jump and help them with this then it's gonna be hard to prove that WWE did anything wrong against them.

Then they're some of the stuff written in that lawsuit itself that will make it hard for them to be taken seriously in court.

The biggest one being that somebody in WWE said to a tubi representative that if they didn't pull out of the deal with MLW, they would take smackdown off Fox. That part in itself make no sense as if I'm in tubi, which is own by fox, and somebody tells me, I'm taking my programming off your network, I'm saying go for it, I'm gonna see you in court for breach of contract which mean that WWE would lose a lot of money.

The other part that made me laugh was the part that Vice canceled their TV deal because they wanted to keep the WWE happy since they have some sort of connection with the dark side of the ring production. Like if WWE would have anything to do with a show that's pretty much making them look like a horrible company in fact, I feel like they wouldn't mind if that show was canceled.

So yeah, I strongly feel like this is like a lot of the other lawsuit WWE had against them lately and it's just a cash grab since MLW hasn't been able to make any money since they restarted which let in screwing a lot of the guys with horrible contract and payoff and it's a desperate attempt to stay alive

I don’t know what financial situation they are in but it smacks of desperation from MLW to be honest.

If WWE wasn't in a tail spin like it is I'd actually like to see McMahon go and buy MLW and pick up a couple of talents.
