Ah..
The HBK Montreal promo
Hogan heel turn promo
Cane Dewey.
All of these are brilliantly written and Iconic at the same time.
The HBK one was filled with pure hate from the crowd.. and Shawn played the crowd like a fiddle.
The Hogan was just too shocking.
And Foley's promo was just...
Cena is definitely facing Kurt at WM. WWE isn't this stupid..
I mean, I see it as either they didn't expect the backlash against Corbin to be this huge and now will definitely change the match..
OR
This was always meant to be a swerve (and that Cena was always meant to replace Corbin) and...
I'm not a big fan of the Women's tag team championship. The roster is too thin and they've barely made the EC match full (at Asuka's expense sadly).
Going forward, they're still gonna find it difficult when 4 members are stuck in a tag feud. And also we know how seriously WWE treats tag team...
One of the major major reasons for this is that Heyman oversells the wrestler. And when they turn out to be not worth the hype, they flop.
This is not to say the wrestlers that Heyman represented were bad. But when you have Heyman hyping you like the second coming of Christ, you have no chance...
I'm just going with the full time roster. So no Cena.
1. Seth Rollins - Can put on spectacular matches, is good on the mic and can play both face and heel very admirably.
2. Ronda Rousey - She's a freakin superstar. She elevates the whole situation just by getting involved. Not bad in the ring...
That beatdown gave me the CM Punk Raw 1000 heel turn vibes.. Her whole slow, methodical dismantling of Banks had that Punk attitude.
If she has indeed turned heel, I'd like her to be the Heyman Guy Punk type heel. The frustrated, you-aren't-better-than-me heel. She's good on the mic and could...
I've always seen him as a charisma vacuum.
He was sorta getting better on the mic but really was nothing special. He also had this weird shaped body which I'm not sure I was not comfortable watching on TV.
The Daniel Bryan feud really hurt Bryan more than him. Wouldn't be terribly sad if they...
Titus
The Club (Gallows and Anderson) If they're not gonna use them properly, just let them go join Cody..
Dana Brooke
Corbin - He's just useless..
Colons
Natalya
Tamina
I'm a huge fan of the way the US title feud is currently being written.
Roode acts like a face but is far from full blown face.
Orton is very much of a tweener with heelish edge. He hasn't talked much but the crowd has loved every moment he's been on the screen.
And then there's Jinder...
This is sort of a passing thought.
I believe the most relevant title right now is the IC title. All the others have become more or less irrelevant. As much as I love AJ Styles, his heel run with the title was way better than his face run.
Flair, JBL, Punk, Edge, Orton, Jericho, HHH...
Bayley was always going to be a one hit wonder. Her storylines in NXT revolved around her being the underdog and overcoming the odds. You can do this only so many times.
From then on her character never evolved and the fact that she can cut only half a decent promo didn't help.
I'm not sure if...
When was the last time a newer (not the AE stars like Trish and Lita) female wrestler was cheered on her return.?
The pop that Paige received was not unlike one a returning male wrestler would get. This made me think of how far the women's division has come from it's time in the PG era. While...
Whoa.. You hold your horses, son. I feel for the guy because of the way he was humiliated (dog-collar and all..) and it's good that it's "FINALLY"over for him.
I say that he should have been released after the AJ angle to save him from the humiliation he faced after it.
http://www.wwe.com/article/james-ellsworth-released?sf172089900=1
So this has finally been done which, quite frankly, should have been done right after the AJ angle.
And I sorta feel for the guy. The whole gimmick with Carmella was disgraceful. Even for him.
Could they have used him elsewhere?
Another thing that is common between the names up there is that all of them could cut one hell of a promo. They didn't get over because they started out as heels, they succeeded because they were terrific on the mic. They could tell a great story.
A Roman heel turn won't help him much...
He's good.
He very much reminds me of Orton during his viper/punt kick days.
He's still a bit raw on the mic but has the potential unlike someone like Reigns. My guess is that he will improve by spending time with the likes of Cena, AJ and the rest.
So he needs those top feuds. Not the...
Um.. No.
Wyatt needs to develop a personality of his own. An Identity of his own.
I've always seen Wyatt as the head of a cult. A "leader". Him taking guidance from Taker would only diminish his autonomy and reduce him to a pawn in the scheme of things. This would do nothing for him.
All he...
I've always been astonished when people say SD is more interesting. Raw has done a lot better job of keeping their storylines fresh than SD.
JeriKO are splitting up. Seth Rollins is moving towards the HHH feud, KO has moved on from Rollins to Reigns, The women are doing a great job (although it...
I'm going with the 2008 Jericho.
This showed us the great range that Jericho has. The ruthless heel, hitting HBK's wife, all was done to perfection.
We even got the Codebreaker during this run.
On a side note, I loved his return on Raw 2011 the most. It was pure genius. He knew the crowd would...
Most people in this thread have misunderstood what the OP is trying to say here.. "Pushing" and "Using" your talent are two different things.
Right now WWE has a 3 hr Raw, 2 hr SD with exclusive rosters. So using your 30 odd performers for each show should not be a problem..
Reserving 30...
