KB Busts Up Another Myth: What Killed WCW

This may truly be the most circular argument I've ever witnessed (read?). Unfortunately every person in this forum could read as many insider books possible and try to put our own two cents into what happened, but the fact is no one will completely know what occurred in the various board rooms...

Alberto Del Rio 2011 Royal Rumble WINNER!!!

Ugh agreed. Any chance of Cena playing a tweener roll was killed by the shenanigans he pulled with Hornswaggle.

Alberto Del Rio 2011 Royal Rumble WINNER!!!

I was hoping Mistico would show up at the end...but other then that I was very very pleased with the result.

    Did you know...

Eh...I was born in Manhattan, grew up in Central Jersey near Princeton, lived in Brooklyn when I went to law school, and now live in North Jersey...IMHO the best pizza I ever had was in Brooklyn...don't get me wrong jersey pizza is amazing...but Brooklyn pizza was a bit better.

    Did you know...

Anybody remember the simpson's flashback episode where Krusty the Clown begins a promotion for the 1984 Summer Olympic Games with his Krusty Burger chain where people scratch off the name of an event from the game card and if the United States wins a gold in that event, they win a free Krusty...

    The Sports Bar

Have you ever heard of an athlete being happy about being franchise tagged?

    The Sports Bar

Yeah...it all depends if Vick is going to continue to evolve as a pocket passer or, as we saw at the end of the season, regress back to his run first look for a pass later mentality...it's the right move by the Eagles, but no doubt Vick is going to be pissy about it.

    Post Your Picture Thread

LOL...it's the white liberty jersey the team wore for a year in the late 90s...my dad gave it to me when i was 13 and it's a gretzky...i've never been able to get a new jersey after that despite it smelling like death and covered in literally my own blood.

    Post Your Picture Thread

Thought I should finally post a few photos here... This one is me and my girlfriend at a rangers/devils game. I'm the rangers fan, obviously. And here's me at a kareoke night my frat did:

    Your First Kiss?

Congratulations Ryder, under NY law you are both guilty of statutory rape. I was 7...behind the bushes of my elementary school in 1st grade. Who knew everything would go down hill from there?

Stone Cold is the New Host of Tough Enough

I really don't understand how anyone can be anything other then completely ecstatic by this news. It's a win-win for both the WWE, its fans, and Stone Cold. WWE has virtually guaranteed good ratings for, at the very minimum, its first episode, new and old fans should want to see Stone Cold (how...

    Favorite Wrestling Betrayal?

Thuggy bear, you just made me think of another great betrayal. Steph-o-mac betraying Test and getting with HHH. One of the best WTF moments in WWF history!

    Favorite Wrestling Betrayal?

I've got another great one that I'm surprised no one has mentioned thus far. The original betrayal of Paul Bearer on the Undertaker. They had been together since 1991 and in 1996, Paul Bearer betrayed the Undertaker and aligned with Mankind. Since this time Paul Bearer has betrayed the...

    Favorite Wrestling Betrayal?

That's a great point. Not to mention there had already been rumblings of Hulk turning heel. Not to mention, Hogan had already betrayed me personally by jumping ship from WWF to WCW, as a kid that might have been the biggest betrayal.

    Favorite Wrestling Betrayal?

We all have one. Our favorite moment when a wrestler betrays another wrestler and splits up the tag team, goes out on his own, joins a different stable, or screws a wrestler who was his supposed "friend" costing him a championship. My question is a simple one, but one I believe can warrant...

The Most Embarrassing Music/WWE Crossover Moment

Since the beginning of time, wrestling promoters have realized two things about wrestling fans. 1) They like wrestling and 2) They like music. So, as any smart businessman would do, wrestling promoters have attempted to merge the two. However, unfortunately, the attempt to cross music and...

MCMG's: Who Will Be the Jannetty?

I think this is a great thread. Even though most people are disagreeing with your initial concept, it's still getting people to think and discuss, which is even more important. Unfortunately, I agree with the multitude of posters so far and believe that neither will be the Jannetty...but...

    Yankees Sign Soriano

He's a great reliever, one of the best actually and I'm sure he will be a great eventual successor to Mo. However, there are a few major problems with this signing. 1. Yankees now forfeit their 1st round draft pick for an 8th inning guy. Is this worth it? 2. Small market guy is now playing...

    Is America Craving Blues Music?

Lately, slowly but surely, there has been a grass roots revival of some serious blues music. The new Robert Randolph album was extremely bluesy and had less of their jam influence. Then, this morning, I saw this. nCPH3dPQkIc It seems as if even G. Love is moving away from his funk/jazz/jam...
