WWE SummerSlam - Finn Balor VS Bray Wyatt

It seems odd. They have an hour of pre-card and 3 hours of showtime. Plenty of time. I mean if Big Show vs Big Cass in a Shark Cage match can make the show, how does THIS get the cut? I reckon some shenanigans end this match and we get the demon on Sunday.

WWE SummerSlam - Finn Balor VS Bray Wyatt

Maybe that's why their facing off on RAW tonight... Otherwise 2 of the matches for Summerslam will be on RAW instead of the SS card.

WWE SummerSlam: WWE Cruiserweight Championship - Neville VS Akira Tozawa

Well apparently this shit aint happening anymore. I really find Tozawa and the Titus Brand boring as hell, so I am really not happy. But the crowd reacting seemed pretty good. Meh.

    Jinder Mahal Got The Moves!

I agree, but only to a limited extent, because I think they are improving him. They gave him a new look, a new entrance, some lackeys. I think he needs something else to make him really stand out, but I think he is a million times better now than he was three months ago, and that's a good rate...

WWE SummerSlam: WWE Championship - Jinder Mahal (c) VS Shinsuke Nakamura

I love the fact that Shinsuke is going to challenge but I have three fears for this match. 1. If Jinder loses, then his Championship run has probably been a failure. If you are going the cowardly heel route I.E. JBL, I believe only a long run sets you up. It makes you look like your conniving...

Bayley: The Most Disappointing Wrestler of 2017 (So Far)

Okay, for mine this was a booking problem. 1st you had the hill to climb, overcoming the odds and becoming womans champion. Instead of leaving that star making moment to Wrestlemania, they do it at a nothing RAW for no apparent reason without appropriate build. Then you have the breaking...

    Jinder Mahal Got The Moves!

Sorry can't say I agree. He is still a long way off main event level, that's for sure. But he is improving at a rate of knots; and keeping him in that spot for a while longer can help set him up as a long term main event talent.

Championship Region, Sixth Round: (2) Bret Hart vs. (9) Brock Lesnar

I will point out that he still won that match after the Shooting Star Botch.
  9. T

Championship Region, Sixth Round: (4) Bruno Sammartino vs. (3) Andre the Giant

I think that Sammartino takes it. Andre lost to Hogan in the closest approximation of this match (dominant champ vs monster) and Sammartino is a better wrestler than Hogan on just about any day of the week. Bruno is fresher (and take into consideration that being a giant Andre would tire...

Championship Region, Sixth Round: (2) Bret Hart vs. (9) Brock Lesnar

Lesnar... Just... Lesnar... I just can't see Hart beating him. Lesnar is a legit main event star. Has been the face of a brand at least, beaten anyone and everyone put in front of him. Lesnar.

Championship Region, Fifth Round: (2) Bret Hart vs. (5) Chris Jericho

I voted Bret. But I really wouldn't use drawing power as an argument. Yeah Jericho was in the lower part of the main event scene, and even as champ didn't feel like the main event. But Bret was a main eventer (and correct me if I am wrong) during the WWEs lowest ebb. Jericho probably saw...

Championship Region, Fifth Round: (2) Undertaker vs. (9) Brock Lesnar

Who do I think would win? Lesnar. Who do I think was better? Taker. Looking at their careers there is no doubt that Brock has had a good run, but very few have had careers as long and successful as the Undertaker.

Championship Region, Fifth Round: (2) Bret Hart vs. (5) Chris Jericho

If you look at the entire body of work, the man who was more entertaining for a longer period, and in my opinion the better overall performer the score goes to Jericho. But if you are looking at their primes, who I think would actually win, Hart in a heartbeat. Vote Hart.

Championship Region, Fifth Round: (3) Andre the Giant vs. (4) Kurt Angle

Jesus Christ this is a tough call. Angle is one of the few people whose technical prowess could best a giant. We have seen it before vs the Big Show so it isn't like he can't do it. But Andre is the gold standard of big men and didn't lose often. I think it would be a great match, but Andre...

Rock Region, Fourth Round, TLC Match: (2) Ric Flair vs. (3) Andre the Giant

Flair has been in a TLC match before... Against Edge, I think he was Edge's first WWE Championship defense. Held his own quite nicely at 60 odd.

Hogan Region, Fourth Round, Iron Man Match: (2) Bret Hart vs. (3) Randy Savage

The Iron Man match is the technical specialists dream match, keep the pace slow, work the body. I think Hart takes it.

Hogan Region, Fourth Round, 3 Stages of Hell: (5) Chris Jericho vs. (8) Goldberg

^^ Beat me to it again ^^ Jericho wins the ladder portion, then escapes the cage to win. Like Warrior vs HHH, Goldberg doesn't get pinned, but gimmick matches where he doesn't need to be pinned to lose are the dangerous ones. I could even imagine him spearing Jericho through the cage door or...

Austin Region, Fourth Round, TLC Match: (3) Triple H vs. (7) Ultimate Warrior

This for mine is the exact type of match Warrior would lose. He doesn't have to be pinned to lose, Triple H can use all the weapons he wants. No selling aside, I think Triple H takes this one.

Austin Region, Fourth Round, Iron Man Match: (1) Steve Austin vs. (4)Bruno Sammartino

^^ My argument exactly ^^ That and Sammartino eating a pin had to be a rare occurrence right?

Cena Region, Fourth Round, 3 Stages of Hell Match: (2) Undertaker vs. (3) Lou Thesz

I simply don't know enough about Thesz to make a judgment on this one. I will note that the three stages format likely advantages Thesz since he was a champion in the era when going broadway was a regular occurrence. Although having said that, the ladder match format and hardcore wrestling...
