Man it’s hard to really cast a WWE movie because of how familiar we are with the actual wrestlers. But here goes nothing for an Attitude Era movie casting. Some of the ages are gonna seem off but with some makeup work they could still work.
Dennis Quaid - Vince McMahon
Sean Bean looks like him...
With Daniel Bryan now back on the active roster I expect a new Smackdown GM to be announced following WrestleMania, so who should take that role?
My pick would be to move Kurt Angle over to Smackdown as GM. Him still being GM on RAW seems unlikely following the match with HHH/Stephanie and he...
So we are almost a month in to the new year and i was talking to a buddy last week about my wrestling Wishlist for this year and thought it could make for a good topic to discuss on here. So what is on everyone's wish list to see happen in WWE in 2018?
My WishList
Miz moves to Smackdown...
Even if they keep them together on Raw as The Club/Balor Club I still don't see them taking a top spot on the roster and for sure don't see them being the top faction. Honestly this just seems like more filler for them to do because creative has nothing for them and they can lead into a...
Was just saying the same thing that Ryder should be Hawkins "missing link" that causes him to win and they reunite to have a run at the tag titles. Both are essentially being wasted and Raw could use another credible tag team so why not go that route.
I wouldnt do a whole lot of shaking up but there are a few trades that should be made and they would really keep both brands fairly even in regards to talent lost but would allow for fresh matchups.
RAW Recieves:
AJ Styles
Randy Orton
Baron Corbin
Bobby Roode
Zach Ryder
The Usos
Smackdown...
King of the Ring has always been a favorite of mine growing up and I hate that the WWE has dropped the concept and event. It was a great stepping stone for mid-card guys to elevate to main event level and the tournament structure was alot of fun and exciting. With WWE not having any interest in...
Roode really shouldn't drop the title until he is going to move to the main roster at this point. Even with McIntyre as the current #1 contender and guys like Black, Ohno, Itami, at the top the roster, I'd keep Roode champion until the Royal Rumble weekend Takeover.
In my perfect scenario...
I've been a huge fan of NXT since it's inception and it's probably my favorite part of WWE's programming but lately it's felt like NXT has been a bit sporadic and lacking in terms of weekly quality and continuity. They have an amazing roster but some weeks guys aren't featured, top guys like...
I love a good faction power struggle storyline if done right. During Attitude Era heyday the DX/Corporation/Ministry was extremely intriguing. For stables with the current roster I have the below:
Shoot Nation:
Kurt Angle - mentor
Jack Swagger
Shelton Benjamin
American Alpha
Modern 4 Horsemen...
I was thinking about the current landscape of wrestling and quickly realized that The Bullet Club could potentially reign supreme within the industry very soon. If things go well this weekend we could see Balor as Universal Champion, Gallows & Anderson as Tag Champions, Adam Cole as ROH...
I was just telling a friend that I completely forgot Swagger was even on the roster anymore. He got drafted to RAW but hasn't been seen... The guy must have REALLY pissed off the wrong people a few years back because I still can't fathom how he's been held back so much recently (aside from being...
Its actually one less day on the road for each superstar. Raw guys get Tues, Wed, Thurs off and Smackdown guys get Wed, Thurs, Friday off... The guys that have been advertised for shows that they aren't part of any longer (ie: Cena & Ambrose doing Raw dark matches) are still doing those for the...
With Shane running Smackdown and it being pushed as "new and exciting with the LIVE concept" I can see Shane wanting to inject some new blood into the role and giving it to either Daniel Bryan or someone synonymous with the brand like and Edge or Heyman. All of which I love the idea behind and...
Rumors have the WWE looking at bringing back former stars to help fill the new split rosters. Now one could argue that this defeats the purpose of having the split to help push and establish new younger talent for a main event level. However it could be good to have established names to be used...
During an interview this weekend jerry Lawler mentioned that following the Brand Split that WWE will have a PPV/Network Special for both Smackdown and Raw each month and the two shows would share the "Big 4 - Summerslam, Survivor Series, Royal Rumble, and Wrestlemania"
Now this seems like...
I had originally penciled in Nakamura to face Joe at the event following his win at Takeover but now its rumored he's going to face Finn Balor in whats likely Finn's final match. So that does leave a big opening on who could realistically challenge for the NXT Title. After looking at the roster...
Let me start by saying I love NXT and how it is currently structured. They keep things simple in the context of their feuds/storylines and focus alot more on the in-ring action and the importance of winning/losing and the titles. However, while introducing NXT to a few friends who only watch Raw...
I was just getting ready to write a post about how the last 4 weeks have seemed like a huge improvement with new guys getting pushes, every segment has some form of focus or meaning to advance toward a feud, and things are progressing. I really do think it has a big influence on the fact that...
If the reports are true that the Wrestlemania card is set and Undertaker is going to face someone who is "Not on the roster" then that definitely narrows it down. Below are really the only names that could fill that role to create a marquee matchup for Mania, and I would consider the NXT talent...
