I supported Jack and Kubrick in previous rounds, but I'm going against The Shining here.
In most cases, The Shining will only appeal to horror fans. It has a niche audience, but everyone can enjoy Back To The Future. It's an inventive time travel film, featuring two of the most entertaining and likeable characters (Doc Brown & Marty) you'll ever see. Comedy, romance, action. This film has it all, and over time, Back To The Future has risen to the status of a beloved American classic.
