The Undertaker's Last Run

They weren't The Undertaker. The Streak wasn't the defining accomplishment of their career. The Streak being ended is the equivalent of Ric Flair suddenly having 10 of his World Championships declared invalid and taken away from him.

One loss doesn't define someone's career. He still won 21 straight, which most wrestlers don't even come close to.

For me and a lot of fans, "The Undertaker" died at WrestleMania 30. The end of The Streak was the end of the Deadman. Having Brock Lesnar beat him destroyed his mystique and his aura, and it can never be fully repaired. In my opinion the only way to restore any of it is to have beat Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam, go on his final run in the company (which would include a match with Sting at Survivor Series, the event where they each made their WWE debuts), and a deciding match with Lesnar at WrestleMania 32, for the title (which Lesnar would have regained at Survivor Series or the Rumble), and have Undertaker beat Brock Lesnar CLEAN and by SUBMISSION. After that, the Undertaker could retire the following night on RAW, vacating the championship and leaving it open for a tournament to fill it. Throwing away Undertaker's legacy to stroke Brock Lesnar's ego was the single worst mistake in WWE history in my opinion, and rivals WCW putting their titles on guys like David Arquette and Vince Russo.
It's pretty unfair to say this because the Undertaker is more than just a WrestleMania streak. An unique character, longevity, wrestled all the greats, top name in many WWE eras, multiple times world champion, at many PPVs he had a match of the night, was involved in many big storylines, delivered some memorable moments like the first ever HIAC match, his debut at SS90, throwing Mick Foley off the cell, crucifying Stone Cold or his segments with Kane.
Ending the streak was a horrible, stupid decision and it definitely killed the biggest streak in pro wrestling history and one of the greatest things in pro wrestling ever and one part of Undertaker's career but to say it was the end of the Undertaker and his death is really unfair

Lets not go there Ric Flair is a Legend that wrestled all top names in WCW,TNA and wwe . Mark is nowhere there his gimmick is awful if he remained the biker I would like it more but he is dead underfaker as Chris Jericho called him is dead. He practically begged Lesner at a UFC event many years back to end his streak and pass the torch and it is a done deal! He is an icon but not a Legend! STING is a LEGEND, FLAIR , HOGAN. ICONS are like PIPER, SAVAGE, ROCK, HBK , Callway etc ! See the difference incase any of you ever say he is a legend he ain t !

It seems to me like the general consensus on these boards is that The Undertaker is just some schmuck who should be used for nothing but to put over everyone with a heartbeat. There's a serious lack of respect for one of the best of all time here.

"Here's an idea: Let's have Undertaker lose every match!"

"Brilliant!!!"

What a bunch of tools.

Of course it's brilliant if Y2jobber put talent over why not a cripplin , tearin old man ? He has nothing to prove anymore his streak is dead! He should put talent over that's it! Crimsons streak ended, Samoa Joe's streak ended and hell even GOLDBERG's streak ended in WCW nothing lasts! wwe has to get him to put talent over cause he can t move around much as he used to he needs a wheelchair to get there faster to the ring. He is one of the worst of all time! Wrst gimmick ever right after Giant Gonzalez ape suit ! If he was a biker character it can be more serious and mysterious! I don t see Brock Lesner in any gimmick thank Goodness lol! Seriously Mark was WCW made and was part of the Skyscrapers!

No matter if you consider the Undertaker a legend or an icon, he is still more than a WrestleMania streak and he would end up as one of the greatest WWE superstars even if he had never won at WrestleMania. His legacy depends not of just a WrestleMania streak

During takers match with lesnar, have the lights go out...the DEMON Kane show up with the earn with Paul bearer in it..now it can go 2 ways...I like #2 better

#1 Kane smash the earn over takers head..Kane never speaks again. Kane and taker have a retirement match. They kill each other outside and both get counted and double retirement!!!!!

Or#2... Demon Kane shows up and smashes the earn over lesnar said head several times..has taker in a trance and recruits undertaker to uthe authority...the corporate brothers of destruction. Taker gets. Title shot against Cena or Rollins or whoever and retires after a winning the title at mania 32... But demon Kane has to be part of it..

What about Undertaker fighting Lesnar to a double KO, at which point, Sting appears with a bat and places the end near UT's head. It possibly hints to a match at either WM or RR. And the PPV it doesn't happen at is when he finally defeats Lesnar in a decisive victory.
