For months WWE has failed to keep the interest of viewers, and fans around the world. After releasing a ton of talented stars, and quite a few that are head scratchers. Can wwe truly fix the problems that have continued even before the pandemic? Many people are not even watching the two minute recap videos for RAW, NXT numbers haven't changed since the move to Tuesdays nights, and Smackdown still struggles with the little things that are not helping them at any cost. Let's just take a look at each brand, and talk about the good, bad, and horrendous about each one.

Monday Night Raw hasn't been the A show in years. It hasn't even been the B, C, or D show in recent months. It literally has been the F show. Not that F word, but the word "FAILURE". Based on the stupidity of the so called creative writers, team, or whatever you want to call it. You have gotten same storylines booked for both of the main championships between Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley, and Rhea Ripley vs. Charlotte Flair a month or so ago. All the way to same matches that have happened every single week. Yes, I know in the past we've seen the same exact matches happen in the past going back to years ago. What I mean is this has escalated by 99.9%.... Raw is quite frankly the worst wrestling show you could even turn on and watch. Best part of each Monday Night Raw has been Riddle and Orton teaming up, Drew McIntyre carrying the Raw brand throughout the pandemic, Bobby Lashley finally winning the big one, and... and.... Yeah. That's about it.

NXT moved to Tuesdays because of the Hockey games, but that was canceled. They stayed the course even thought most think it's because of AEWs ratings and viewership. It wasn't that simple in any context. Believe what you guys and gals want. NXT is the ABSOLUTE BEST show each and every week for the WWE. I honestly wish Triple H was I charge of all three shows because he has a vision for what makes fans crave stories, matches, feuds, and more.

Friday Night Smackdown has been great as well, but still not the best show on TV today for the WWE. Besides Roman Reigns turning heel. Besides Paul Heyman joining him and being the best part of the night for viewers and fans at the venue. Honestly what else good has come from Smackdown? I can tell a few things that have caught my eye. Big E, King Nakamura, Cesaro, Edge, Daniel Bryan (before he lost his spot on the brand), Seth Rollins, and Bianca Belair as the Women's Championship. The LITTLE things have haunted Raw and Smackdown, but Raw has the major issues. Smackdown needs fixed with mainly the small things. We need a few more storylines and talent in the men and womens locker rooms.

Let me know what each brand could do better in order to fix the company from its main issues, and if you think that WWE can be saved from drowning or will they become the little brother for the first time since WCW dominated the viewership for weeks. Can WWE be resurrected? What needs done? Enjoy the read!

WWE can only fix it's mistakes if it identifies them. As you say, for months they've struggled to keep the interest of fans.

Perhaps the RAW writing team needs change. The arrogant nature that putting NXT up against AEW to prevent AEW's growth worked against them. I think WWE has too much programming, in fact I think Wrestling has too much programming and the product has become diluted.

Having live audiences will help for a while, the 21 Draft will also help shift talent around. The likes of Asuka and Drew could go to Smackdown with Big E and others going in the other direction and it freshens everything up.

I think the WWE will get it right at some stage. Smackdown has been it's 'A' show for a while now and while money talks, 3hrs of RAW is probably an hour heavy for a weekly show.

The tag-team division is looking a little light, they should consider 1 tag-division like the Women have, the 24/7 belt was a mistake in my view and I would like to see a light-heavyweight division return to RAW or Smackdown.

WWE should have put the Raw title on Edge way back at Wrestlemania 2020 but instead we got 2 of the most boring champs following an absentee Champion. I mean seriously, Drew and Lashley are more bland than Orton. They can still salvage the situation and put the belt on Edge but I'm not sure how long he'll stick around. Women's and midcard of Raw is still somewhat entertaining with AJ & Omos, Nikki, Ripley. Maybe put the US title on the bro to make it relevant again. It's just the Raw Title scene that sux. May be they can reunite The New Day and put the strap on Big E.
Smackdown title on the other hand, couldn't be better handled. Roman is finally entertaining, it's like putting a man on the moon. Midcard and women's division is just plain boring. I don't think Usos as tag champ will help. There's absolutely no realistic competition to belair. I forgot who's holding the IC title. It's just that boring I skip the non Roman segments.
I think my 25 year wwe fandom will end soon, especially since Vince is treating talented people like garbage.

In the head of wwe and mostly the mcmahon family, why do they need to fix anything if nothing need to be fix. Let's face it, we are outsiders doing armchair quartebacking here. The ratings are what they are. They're not what the used to be 10 years ago but they're not as bad as some reporters makes them to be. In fact, Raw on USA is beating pretty much every show on the CW every week so that's saying something here. Smackdown on fox is doing around the same ratings then what they had on friday nights and it costing fox a lot less to get the same result. So again, they're not hurting there.

So what left to fix in their head? Nothing. But i got to say that the product does need some freshing up a little bit, especially NXT who been stuck with the same top guys for years now and it getting stale really quickly.

The thing with NXT is that they don't seem to know what they want the brand to be. Do they want it to be a developmental brand or do they want it to be a third brand on the same level as raw and smackdown. That's what hurt them in the war against AEW, is that they had a identity crisis. They were trying to make it look like a top level brand but making it look like a minor league brand. That's something that they can really fix quickly if they wanted to. Just pick one or the other. If they want the show to be on the same level as raw and smackdown, get out of the CWC and use the draft to send guys like cesaro, corbin, nakamura and other wrestlers that are just spinning their wheels on raw or smackdown but could be use draw for NXT. If they want this to be a developmental brand, then again act like it and just start pushing younger talent to the top instead of the same 4 or 5 indy guys that's been on the brand for a while now. That's how you make the brand feel fresh again.

As for Raw, the only way freshing up that show is a) go back to the 2 hours format, and be change the name of the brand. RAW suffers from the fact that it's been on tv since 93, which is 28 years and people remember some of the great moments that happened on that show and want the show to be what it was in the past. Yeck, that's pretty much what AEW is doing with dynamite right now is being what Raw used to be. So, Raw as a brand is old and really obsolete at this point and need to be canceled and rebranded. That's the only way you can get a fresh start on monday night. Again the draft could help with that.

Smackdown as found a way to keep people interested with reigns and now cena, edge and rollins for a little while at less. They gonna have to find a way to build on that momentum that cena and edge is giving them to keep those fans hook to the smackdown product once both guys leave. Reigns is doing a great job in keeping the show interesting but if they don't build guys to be viable opponent for him, then his appeal will slowly fade until on another part timer shows up. So the main thing they have to do on smackdown is to build babyfaces to be viable threat for reigns. Balor could easily be one, big e could be one if they make him drop the new day gimmick. Nakamura could be one if he wasn't such a comedic wrestler.

The thing is, were talking about wwe here but the whole wrestling business need to be fix not just WWE. Wrestling as become a niche product and that's not going to change until companies like WWE, AEW and others realize that the IWC are just a small portion of the wrestling fandom and need to get the mainstream fans interested in wrestling again and the modern style ain't doing it.
