What's really good?
I got to go with Melee here. There's not many ways that beat having fun playing a video game than Mario, Donkey Kong, Pikachu, and Kirby going at it. Along with the various weapons and interactive stages, you'll be guaranteed to have a good time no matter how you play the game. Super Metroid is a good platforming shooter but it can't beat the fighting pack of fun that is Melee.
Super Metroid takes my vote. It's up against a tough opponent in Melee, but I still believe Metroid is the better game. Melee did turn Smash Bros from a novelty into a megaseries, but unlike Metroid it gets old after a while. Super Metroid gas my support mainly because after more than 15 years is STILL a great and fun way to spend the next 3 or so hours if you are bored, trying to complete it quickly and get that best ending. It also had a lot of replay value too for those who wanted to go back and get all of the items or try different routes. Vote for Super Metroid.
