An open challenge

Seeing as I've not seen sig of the week for a few weeks I thought I'd do a challenge to all you graphics dudes. Inspired by yesterdays Mr Men tributes I thought I would give you this simple challenge:

"Design a Google logo to mark a specific event"

It can be anything. Go wild, but it must incorporate the Google lettering.

Here it is, my first participation in Art & Graphics Forum!!
This one is to take place in 13th December, the date of Windows Live Messenger inception!!

This image, its nothing to special and a lazy creation!! Its not perfect!!

I created myself the letters and colorized them with several gradients and I kinda made the dark and white lights on which one of them!
I hate the little dudes, i wanted to make one myself in Illustrator, but like i told you it was a lazy creation, so i simply used the little ones on the Web!!
I liked the ButterFly touch, i think that made my image a little bit cooler!

It is a great topic and i just tried to put here my idea !!
