Shawn at that time was to messed up the politics and ass backwards ways of doing things in WCW would have driven crazy. His friendship with Hall and Nash wouldn't have survived if they were all in WCW. Shawn was damn near impossible to deal with at this time and Vince was the only one who could ever reign him in

Shawn Michaels wouldn't have done a very much for WCW. All he would have been was a midcarder who could float between curtain jerker and Main eventer there. He would have been a small fish in a little pond. Plus they wouldnt have known how to use him properly. He woldve fallen into obscurity just like Bret Hart. Nobody could have stopped WCW from sinking. Shawn may have ben able to prevent it for a little bit but in the long haul it wouldnt have made a bit of difference.
