Report: WWE Looking To Announce WM 29 Main Event Soon

Cena will beat the Rock, then once Undertaker beats Triple H. Undertaker will come out on RAW and Cena will say that the only thing he hasn't done is beat The Undertaker (I know taker beat him once in 2003 or something, but I don't know if Cena actually got a win) so he's giving Undertaker a year to rest for WrestleMania 29. That's what I think.

Now, let me start with a disclaimer. This is based on a report by a writer who has been wrong more times than not, especially when citing "sources" that probably mess with him on purpose. But, it "confirms" my guess for WMXXVIII and beyond; so, I will go with it here.

If it is true that HBK will somehow cost HHH the match with Taker, I saw it coming a mile away. And even now, I don't mind. Many storylines have predictable or spoiled endings and when they come to fruition, you think "that sucked" or "wish I didn't know it was happening, it would have been better". If this plays out this way, I won't mind because I have been hoping it would.

For the past year--and longer for some--the theory has been that 20-0 was an inevitability. So, how do we get fans to doubt the outcome? Well, we put HHH in the match. He is part of the powers that be, so fans could be skeptical. He is giving himself a "third time's the charm" chance, his ego will allow him to pull rank and end the streak and pad his legacy, he will do this to put himself over....all the different theories of Triple H and his power/ego. But, that might not be enough. So, let's throw in 2-time WM-Taker loser/HHH best friend, HBK. Now fans have all sorts of reasons to think 19-1 is a possibility.

But, Taker playing them against each other made it seem like a) Taker will go 20-0 as most assume, b) it won't be as predictable as any other "going for 20-0" match would have been, and c) it sets up--what a lot of us wanted one or two WMs back---HBK vs HHH at the big show.

As Rock has proven, you don't have to be here all year to get hyped enough to make people want to see you at WM. Both HHH and HBK can stay out of the limelight for most of the year and still progress a storyline that will pay off next year.

I'm not one of these prognosticators who have to guess what will happen instead of just enjoying the show. But, this one played out in my mind weeks ago and, if this is true, it will be one "spoiler" that will not ruin the viewing for me.

Supposedly it's gonna be HBK vs. Triple H. If this is in fact true than I couldn't give a shit less, We've seen about every possible version of this match, & HBK needs to fuck off already.

I'm not goig to care if it's HBk v. HHH. I always assumed they would finish each others careers anyway. If Taker doesn't care, cool.

Obviously I want Taker v. Cena, but why wouldn't they wait until 30 if they've waited this long already?

I think that HBK/HHH thing is just a throw you off the scent rumor. I doubt they would announce Taker-Cena a year in advance. Anything they announce a year in advance is almost a lock to involve the Rock.

‎"Finish each others' careers." Yeah, 'cause, HHH would let anybody, even HBK, end his career.

Batista vs Mason Ryan.

Ryan's going to come out next week on Raw and talk about making the biggest impact of his career and challenge Batista to a match at WM29.

It will be the greatest thing anyone will ever witness

Let's see:

Undertaker vs Rock

Stone Cold Steve Austin vs CM Punk

HHH vs Lord Tensai

Randy orton vs Sheamus vs Cody Rhodes vs Dolph Ziggler - WWE title (yes a fatal 4
way but these guys could pull it off)

Layla vs Kharma - for (the reinstated) womens title

R-Truth and Kofi Kingston (C) vs Christain and Miz - Tag Titles

Barret (C) vs Jericho - WHC

Brodus Clay (C) vs Alberto Del Rio - IC title

Jack Swagger (C) vs Justin Gabriel - US title

MITB: Big show, Drew, Santino, Kane, Daniel Bryan, Ezekiel Jackson (if he is still around), Camacho, and Sin Cara

10 matches right there, most of these matches could/would work, and half of them would lead to a very good WM 29. Match up's like these that have had proper build to them would get me pumped for WM 29.

I like how you forget them guys down in Florida, you know, the ones that'll come onto WWE television in the next year and could make a sizeable impact.

I'm not adverse to HHH vs HBK match. I really am not.

But I don't want a Rock/Cena rematch at Mania 30. I'm bloated on rematches.

Give that shot with Rocky to someone else now. The Rock can do this. Like every other legend, come around Rumble, work a program for Mania and then lose to the newer stars. However after a while, even this will lose its charm in pushing talent to that special place of over over.
