After much discussion among creative it has been decided that the deadline will now return to Eastern Standard Time (Or daylight savings equivalent). This allows a better scope for those outside the US and is a nice middle ground.
Typically this will be 11:59pm EST as the time boards change.
In addition to this for extensions we would like a reason why. When redoing the schedules a year or so ago it was decided to do Fri to a week on the Tuesday to give two weekends and plenty of time to write the RP. This discussion is still ongoing and it may be something we look to clamp down on further.
