Who wins the match up?

I love me some Layla. I feel she's an often unappreciated worker in a division that can often borderline on being a cesspool. I felt that Stock was underused in TNA and probably should have won the TNA women's title at least once, because she was hot as fuck and was charismatic. She was a tag team specialist and at least was successful in keeping the tag belts relevant for a while. Despite that I think she found more success in Mexico, but I'm unsure of the extent.

I can probably give Stock the nod in longevity, but Layla has always been more relevant. LayCool was easily the best thing about the Divas division for that year they were on top and since then she's always been relevant in one form or another holding both the Women's and Diva's titles. While Stock was always just another "part" of the Knockouts division, and never the main attraction.

Layla seems more diverse in her roles, considering Sarita was a more stereotypical character. Hell she started out as a member of the Kelly Expose in WWECW...

I'd probably have to give the match to Layla all things considered....

While I agree that Layla has been underutilised and unappreciated in the WWe, to this day the only thing that really sticks in my head of her 8 year WWe career was playing second fiddle (very well, don't get me wrong) to Michelle McCool in LayCool. Part of that could well be due to how poor the Divas' Division is but 8 years and nothing really of note by herself?

The 'Dark Angel' Sarah Stock had a similar conundrum in TNA, being unfortunate enough to being a member of the roster when the company didn't give the division anything close to the respect that built it (a period when Kong quit the company, Daffney getting a career ending injury [got dismissed and sued the company] and pretty much led to Roxxi and Taylor quitting the BUSINESS). However, she made an impression with her in-ring ability, looks and personality when she was given the odd crumb. Outside of this time, she has managed to ply her trade in Mexico, Japan and the USA.

The former Sarita edges it for me because she's done more with less.

Despite a sterling win/loss record in Shimmer earning Stock multiple failed title shots and a spot in TNA, I was never as big a fan of her work as many.

Her TNA win/loss record is abysmal, and includes no significant singles win outside of one victory against Taylor Wilde, Stock even played punching bag to Velvet on multiple occasions.

Always the Bridesmaid, never the Bride, Stock failed to defeat Sara Del Rey or MsChif for the Shimmer belt, and never even as much as earned a one-on-one shot at the TNA KOs title, despite that belt being hot-caked to every other performer who had a run of similar length to the one enjoyed by "Sarita".

Layla on the other graduated past being the Velvet to McCool's Angelina in WWE's Beautiful People rip-off pairing, to become champion and even enjoy multiple successful PPV defenses of her title against Beth Phoenix.

Layla should rightfully advance.

I think I gotta go with Layla here. I always thought Sarita was a better wrestler even if Layla is underrated but as Papa Pillman pointed out, Sarita never managed to beat anybody big in TNA besides Taylor Wilde.

I like both though.

I really hated Layla during her LayCool days. I wished I could punch her in the face every time they did the whole "we're simply flawless" thing. Sarita and Taylor Wilde, on the other hand, is my favourite women's tag team of all time. Sarita is also a very good wrestler and a very attractive woman (more points for the latter), so my vote goes to her.
