I've always enjoyed the book this aspect of the forums back in the day. And while the forum may not have been a hotbed of discussion, threads, or posts, all those who did partake in the act always ended up forming a nice little bond. A book this is a very tedious process which is probably why many projects get started and dropped soon after. Now while the book this area has been engulfed into the writing gallery, I'm doing a kind of sort of book this. What that means you ask? I'll book shows. Whether it be past, present, or future, I will put some sort of spin onto them. I'll even do the match writing, something I consider myself pretty decent at.

I figure we start with what could end up being a very pivotal show for the WWE in the future. That show being Extreme Rules 2015 emanating from the Allstate Arena in Chicago, IL. I'll provide a match card and some background for each feud heading into the show itself. Hopefully this gets some steam and some general interest. I'm always open for discussion for shows and I'd love to see what you like, dislike, or what you would do for said event.

-Extreme Rules Preview-

WWE World Heavyweight Championship (Extreme Rules): Roman Reigns (c) vs. Rusev

Roman Reigns conquered the Royal Rumble. At Fastlane he conquered Daniel Bryan. At Wrestlemania, he did the unthinkable. He conquered the conqueror. Reigns scratched tooth and nail to defeat the reigning, defending WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Brock Lesnar. To the surprise of everyone, Lesnar offered his hand out of respect before bowing off into the sunset.

Over the course of the next few weeks, Paul Heyman would try to court Roman Reigns into becoming the new Brock Lesnar, the next big thing, and the next Paul Heyman guy. Reigns politely rejected the offer as he doesn’t let another man do his talking. He comes out here, tells you how it is going to go down, and then does it. Heyman wouldn’t accept Reigns rejection, he enlisted in the services of Rusev. Rusev, much like Reigns had a very successful Wrestlemania, defeating John Cena. Rusev finally gave into Cena’s demands for a match after Cena cost Rusev the United States Championship in a match against Mr. Axelmania himself, Curtis Axel. The defeat devastated Rusev, who accepted Cena’s challenge. Rusev would prevail as Cena was defeated, but he did not give it. Now Rusev looks set on the most prestigous prize in the business, the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Will Roman Reigns continue his conquering ways in his first championship defense or will Rusev crush Roman’s dreams as these two battle of in the main event of Extreme Rules in an Extreme Rules match.

WWE Intercontinental Championship (2 out of 3 Falls Match): Daniel Bryan (c) vs. Dolph Ziggler

During the Road to Wrestlemania, Dolph Ziggler expressed his interest in a showstealer of a match between him and Daniel Bryan after both men failed to win the Royal Rumble match. Ziggler got his wish, sort of. The two men were apart of an 8 men ladder match for the Intercontinental Championship. For the third straight year Daniel Bryan would leave Wrestlemania with a championship title and completing the Triple Crown in the process.

Bryan vowed to make the Intercontinental Championship mean something much like some of his idols did before him. Bryan would defeat Bad News Barrett the following night on Raw in his rematch. Dolph Ziggler again took to social media for everyone’s “dream match”. Bryan agreed under one condition, 2 out of 3 falls match. Bryan and Ziggler showed unity and respect in the weeks leading up to their championship match until their tempers flared after failing to pick up a victory over the tag team champions, Tyson Kidd and Cesaro. The table is set and the prestige of the Intercontinental Championship is one the table. Will Daniel Bryan live up to his promise and make his championship meaningful in the eye of the fans or will Dolph Ziggler do what he does best, steal the show and the Intercontinental title in the process.

First Blood Match: Randy Orton vs. Bray Wyatt

At Wrestlemania Randy Orton not only defeated the Authority’s lap dog, Seth Rollins but he also put Mr. Money in the Bank on the shelf after punting him in the skull following the match. The Authority stripped Orton of his victory and demanded an apology. Before Orton could do so, he was interrupted by the new face of fear, Bray Wyatt. Hot of his first Wrestlemania win and retiring on The Undertaker, Wyatt set his focus on The Viper. Orton was left in a pile of his own blood as Wyatt stood tall.

Two weeks would pass and Randy Orton made his return, costing Bray Wyatt his match against WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Roman Reigns. Orton returned the favor as Wyatt, much like Orton two week earlier was left in a pile of his blood. The Authority knew something needed to be done, but there was no controlling the uncontrollable. That is why Triple H had no choice but to think outside the box and have the first First Blood match in WWE since 2008. Will Bray Wyatt continue his recent dominance or will Randy Orton continue his rise up the all time greats?

Chicago Street Fight: John Cena vs. Sheamus

Furious following his defeat to The Icon Sting, Triple H would take out the future Hall of Famer out after nailing him with a sledgehammer to the side of the head the following night on Raw. Before he could inflict more damage, John Cena would make the save. However Cena was soon ambushed by the newest member of the Authority, the returning Sheamus.

Sheamus and the Authority continued to thrive on Cena's recent vulnerability. With back to back PPV losses to Rusev under his belt, will Cena be able to find what he once had or are Sheamus' claims of Cena's prime being well in the past true?

WWE Tag Team Championship: Tyson Kidd and Cesaro (c) vs. The Lucha Dragons

After successfully defending their championship at Wrestlemania against The Usos, it was time for Kidd and Cesaro to look elsewhere for new contenders. The champions suggested a tournament, which Corporate Kane granted to the champions as a chance to showcase the tag team division on Smackdown. Teams such as The Usos, New Day members Kofi Kingston and Big E, Los Matadores, The Primetime Players, The Ascension, J & J Security, the returning Paul London and The Brian Kendrick, and the winners the Lucha Dragons.

Sin Cara and Kalisto quickly became fan favorites as the duo’s high flying ability and tag team maneuvers put the WWE universe in awe. The road was not easy as the Lucha Dragons upset the Usos in round 1, the Ascension in round 2, and London and Kendrick in the finals. With the tag titles in sight, will the former NXT tag champs capture the gold on the main roster or will Tyson Kidd and Cesaro continue their quest towards tag team of the year in 2015?

Divas Championship (Ladder Match): Paige (c) vs. Charlotte

The night after Wrestlemania Paige did it again. She captured the Divas Championship for a third time after defeating Nikki Bella and AJ Lee in a triple threat match. After the match the Bella Twins preceded to take out AJ and then focused their attention on the new champion. Suddenly the music of NXT Diva Charlotte hit and the genetically superior diva would make the save. The post Wrestlemania crowd was eating it up as the former NXT Women’s Champion has come to the aide of the new champ. However that wasn’t the case. Charlotte would take matters into her own hands and took out Paige herself.

In the coming weeks Charlotte showed her dominance including a #1 Contender’s victory over AJ Lee. Charlotte continued to brag about her meteoric success and how quickly she is climbing the ladder of the diva’s division. Paige would interrupt with the brilliant idea of the first ever Diva’s ladder match. Charlotte was hesitant, but was goated into after Paige question her family’s legacy in the business. Will the anti diva’s second year continue towards the path of her first year or will Charlotte put the flare out as these two plan on making history.

Career Match: Dustin Rhodes vs. Stardust

During the buildup to Wrestlemania Stardust stepped out on his own to achieve the Intercontinental Championship. Goldust had other plans, as he was going to put an end to Stardust once and for all and bring his brother Cody back. Dusty Rhodes had a different idea though. He insisted Goldust just let Stardust do his thing at Wrestlemania and if he wins that Intercontinental Championship it will snap him back into reality and help him realize that Cody is not dead, but that Cody is the Intercontinental Championship, in which the current form was brought back by Cody Rhodes. Goldust would reluctantly agree to leave Stardust to do his business. That was until Stardust poked his nose in business that wasn’t his. Due to a distraction he cost Goldust the final spot in the Intercontinental Championship match to the returning Bo Dallas.

At Wrestlemania Stardust was inches away from capturing the championship when Goldust, this time as Dustin entered from the fans and pushed down the ladder, costing Stardust the championship. The following night on Raw Goldust again as Dustin would address the Stardust situation. He apologized and hope his brother forgave him. However Stardust had other plans as he ambushed their father in the back, leaving him unconscious. Dustin rushed to the back to help his ailing father, but it the trap was laid. The two brawled all over the arena until Stardust would attempt a spot on the titantron, but fell to the steel below. Dustin requested his final match be at Extreme Rules with his brother, Cody. Will Cody accept the challenge or will Dustin Rhodes once again fall for the mind games of one Stardust?

Axelmania Open Challenge United States Championship

Curtis Axel has been on fire and is developing such a following with Axelmania. After aide from John Cena, Curtis Axel would capture the United States Championship from the unbeatable Rusev. Now Curtis Axel looks to prove his worth as he vows to continue his way through the roster and main event Axelmania II. Will Axelmania continue to run wild or will it (along with his US championship reign) be put to a halt?

Preshow Singles Match: Dean Ambrose vs. Luke Harper

It’s been a rough couple months for Dean Ambrose and that trend continued as Luke Harper would cost him a shot at the Intercontinental Championship in a match with Dolph Ziggler. Ambrose returned the favor when he attacked Harper before a match with US Champion Curtis Axel on Raw. Now the two men look to find their calling as they open up the show in what should be a great contest to get the crowd hot. Will Ambrose finally get a singles PPV win or will Luke Harper put his name back on the map with a victory over the Lunatic Fringe?

Read the review, will review it later.

FYI, I enjoyed most of it, though I have apprehensions about AxelMania and his winning the US title.
