Gee, this is a hard one to figure out

One team consists of 2 great heels, 2 masterful technicians and 2 heat magnets against 2 guys that are just fun to watch. Nick Bockwinkel's credentials speak for itself and Ray Stevens is a great wrestler in his own right and a guy who doesn't get nearly as much recognition as he deserves not to mention he was also a great tag wrestler in general, forming a very successful team in the Blond Bombers. These are 2 of the most naturally gifted wrestlers you will ever see and they have all the success in the world between them both.

Although MCMG were innovative and incredibly fun to watch they just don't match up against 2 legit draws, and 2 guys that could out wrestle the MCMG even if they hadn't slept in a week. There should be zero question who anyone votes for on this, its not even a contest. In any era the Machine Guns would get stretched and destroyed.

Even if you are unfamiliar with Ray Stevens or Nick Bockwinkel do yourself a favor and educate yourself with them, if you do there will be no question which team is superior.

There's just no question on this one: You have one of the greatest singles wrestlers of all time in Bockwinkel and you are pairing him up with his long time tag team partner who was absolutely no slouch. Bockwinkel and Stevens were to the late 60s and early to mid 70s what The Hart Foundation or Anderson and Blanchard were to the 80s. The Machine Guns would no doubt get their licks in, but the heels take this one easily.

This looks like a match up of the men vs. the boys. Bockwinkel and Stevens all the way here. I don't think the would have any problem grounding the MCMG and giving them a wrestling lesson. Bockwinkel and Stevens are too good and too smart. Throw in Bobby Heenan and this is an easy victory.

The vets would find a way to negate the high flying offense of the Guns & work a tougher slow paced match. MCMG would simply get out wrestled here. Plus we cannot forget the influence that Heenan would have being at ringside. This is an easy victory for Nick and Ray.

The Motor City Machine Guns will have my vote. Those two legendary wrestlers never faced anyone as fast as the MCMG during their time. Combine that with the MCMG's wide range of double-team and combination maneuvers, the older guys will not even be able to keep up with their pace enough to know WTF is happening.
Moreover, the MCMG are not just another high-flying team; they are a well-accomplished tag team, former TNA tag team champions, and have beaten the likes of Team 3D, Beer Money and Generation Me.
