No it wouldn't. Unless me posting a video of Edge defeating Chris Benoit, or Kurt Angle would've been considered "end of debate" and promoted him over Bret Hart.
Well, Will, you're entire grounds for this argument iis based upon this assumption, which has been proved incorrect, mind you, that Hulk Hogan, in his prime, is too good a person to hit a woman. So, it's not even the matter of the atomic drop, but the fact that he actually did it to Sherri. That's what's up for debate here, and clearly, you lost.
I mean, its the same concept, isn't it? You claim because Hogan drive his knee into Sherri's ass - that it means Moolah can't take it? So you're saying Moolah, who went UNDEFEATED for decades as a Champion, can't take an Atomic Drop from a man? Thats sexist, and for the most part I'm not even joking.
You've done it; you really did it. No one has
ever, ever managed to offend me on these forums. Ever. I've been semi-flamed by X, and it didn't bother me. I've been told that my ideas on women's rights on this forum are shit. As a matter of fact, Will, in case you don't know so fondly (Oh yeah, that's right, you never spend much time here anyway)
I'm actually the guy that argues for women's rights in the WWE. I'm usually the guy that argues against the masses when I feel dishusted by how Vickie Guerrero is treated in the WWE is wrong, or that the Piggy James gimmick was poor in taste. Yeah, that's me, I'm the guy that takes offense to these matters, and feel that women should be seen as equal to man. And
you are calling me sexist?
Kindly. Fuck. Off. Seriously Will. This is nothing more than an attempt to discredit me as a person. I'll take getting flamed at, but so God help me, you
will not judge me as a person, do you understand me?
Now then, with that out of the way, again, yes, Moolah can probably take a soft pat in the ass from Hogan. I never once said, she couldn't. However, multiple atomic drops will eventually cause her to lose, yes. Again, the point isn't that Hogan's atomic drop isn't enough to take down Moolah; the point is that Hogan, if pushed to a reasoning, will in fact wrestle a woman. Sure, he'll have a moral issue in doing so, and it will take him a while to attack Moolah, but he will.
You need to rethink yourself as not just a male, but a human being.
Look, I'm not even bother to deal with this. At this point, you know how I feel. I feel you'll do anything to make an argument, even slander the name of a person on this forum that, up until know, considered you a friend. It's one thing to make an argument Will; it's a complete other to argue me, who mind you has championed the rights of women on these forums since
day fucking one, am sexist. That hurts, Will, it absolutely does.
So its acceptable to hit a female as long as she hits first? Some consider that. For the most part, the catagory of those individuals are Wife beaters and low lifes. So, on that note should I seriously begin taking Hogan for no different, or better, than they are?
Well, see, here's the problem, Will; Did Moolah seriously enter this tournament, expecting this rationale? Sure, she's a woman, but she shouldn't be looked upon any differently for being a woman. Here, you clearly show a side of wanting to have your cake and eat it, too. You want for Hogan to not hit Moolah, because she's a woman, yet you're also trying to argue that women are equal to men, possibly, in the ring. Now, the second opinion, I actually somewhat agree with, in that a woman
can be as good a worker as a man, in the ring. But you can't play both sides of the fence, Will. Which is clearly what you're doing now.
Now I get you didn't say a bunch of that, but if you even remotely try arguing you weren't thinking some of it - don't bother. You even mentioned trying to convince people to "check their fanhood"? Why? What purpose does that make? Because everyone who's a fan of this sport, should automatically LOVE Hulk Hogan? Uhm, no.
And you know what I utterly hate, Will?
Posters who are so damn biased on an opinion, they can't take an objective view of this match, and have to resort to a bullshit logic, which has been disproven, and will go out of their way to make an argument, with poor reasoning.
Will, you've been anti-Hogan on this forum before it was even popular. You are probably the biggest Hogan basher I've ever seen in my life. And you know what, that's perfectly fine. Alot of the reason you hate Hogan is actually pretty valid. However, what you're doing right now is simply the fool's argument; you're trying to discredit all of Hogan's accomplishments, for the simple fact that you hate him, and want him out of this tournament.
Will, as much as you'd like to, you can't discredit that Hulk Hogan has led Professional wrestling to the way in which it is today. You can't discredit that without Hogan, professional wrestling would not be the media entity we know it now as. Without Hulk Hogan, this forum may not even exist, honestly. Sure, he played politics, but he also is perhaps the most legendary name in wrestling. Moolah is great, but when one thinks about Women's wrestling, so many more women come to mind. Hell, I'm of the belief that Wendi Richter did more for women's wrestling than Moolah did. It'd be interesting to see what happened if she didn't get screwed by Vince. Moolah was great, but she is no Hogan. And this time, you've let your hatred for Hogan take your arguments, which are typically great, into the nonsensical realm.
If Moolah wasn't worthy of getting praise, even against the all-powerful Hogan, then maybe she shouldn't of been considered in this thing to begin with. I respect Moolah's accomplishments, and dislike Hogan - all as a fan to this sport. Thats how and why I voted. I merely added in the humor, stupidity and joking because to a lot of people thats all this is.
I never said that was a bad thing to do, Will.
But you also know what've done in the process? You've slandered me as a sexist, completely ruined any sense of a friendship I may have had with you, all for the purpose of an argument. Will, you may be a great poster, but that was merely a cheap shot, frankly. I get it; you don't like Hogan, and like Moolah. Really, that's what it all boils down to. But don't go throwing words like "sexist" around, in an attempt to make your point.
