Honestly, Matt Hardy was to be praised for the way he totally reinvented himself in TNA. The Broken Universe was one of the best things to come out of the Impact Zone in its whole lifespan. In fact, I recall Jeff Hardy saying that he was always the brains of the operation for the two of them and that he is a genius when it comes to wrestling.
Truth be told, I've thought that Matt and Jeff have been done for a while. They have put themselves through Hell and highwater for their careers and are starting to show the signs of that. With Matt likely taking less time in the ring, he'll be a welcomed addition backstage. A guy with his know how, legacy and charisma is going to do great things for those coming through the ranks.
