This is a new tournament with new rules so there may be a few confusing things that you need clarified. If you have any questions for Doc or I, this is the place to ask them, and we'll be happy to get back to you as soon as possible.

Does Red Ranger start the fight morphed?

Yes. All the characters start the fight ready to fight. Again, imagine it like a fighting game, where they start prepared but not necessarily at full power. He starts the fight as the Red Ranger, just like the superheroes start as the heroes, not their civilian alter-egos.

So in the case of people like Sub - Zero and Johnny Cage can we use all of their moves and powers they have had in all of the MK games and spin offs?

Correct. Any powers they've been shown to have they can use in this.

Where are these battles taking place? As the outdoors is a factor which could give guys like Flash an advantage.

Battles can take place anywhere, and it's likely that the battle will move from place to place as comic book battles generally do.

Which red ranger are you using for the tourney? or is it up to the poster what red ranger we can use? if it's Jason, will he also be allowed to use his gold ranger powers that he had during ZEO and the brief period of dragonzord powers that he got From Tommy during MMPR?

Furthermore If we are allowed to pick what red ranger we can use for example lets say Tommy from ZEO, is he allowed to use his green, white and black ranger powers/zords from MMPR and Dino Thunder?

It's Jason, he he will only be able to use the powers he has when he is the Red Ranger.

Will he be able to use the dragonzord armor? As he was still technically the red ranger when he used those powers.

Which Ryu is being used? That might sound like a silly question, but in the MVC games he can do some ridiculous shit. Can he tap into Evil Ryu at all?

Whatever powers Ryu has shown he can use, he can use in this tournament. However, it has to be under the Ryu guise, not under any other persona or variation of Ryu.

Regarding Megaman:

Are we using the original Megaman, or Megaman.EXE from the battle networks and tv show?

The original Mega Man, as shown by his match picture. He has access to all of his upgrades he's gotten from the various robot masters in the series.

Another quick question, because the battles can take place anywhere outside is interferece allowed? For example if Hulk is wrecking New York City can the police/military/Shield come in and try to stop him?

Also, is someone who can survive in space allowed to bring someone into space and win due to air loss?

1. Interesting question. I'd say to imagine these fights just taking place in a neutral area, again like a fighting game. Both men have their advantages and disadvantages and have to win the fight themselves.

2. Yes.

Question regarding Aragorn:

Aragorn in lore was able to command the armies of the dead. Which allowed him to turn the tide at the battle of Two Gates. Now seeing the rule saying one can not call backup, does a ghost army count? That and his sword are his only real edge in the battle against Fox.

The ghost army would count as backup. Unfortunately for Aragorn, he got a tough draw, but that's part of the tournament.

Does it bug you guys that some of these guys may be winning purely off of popularity and not on skill set? I know there is no true way to determine if that is true, but I feel like a lot of people are just picking who is their favorite. Kind of diminishes the roleplay aspect of the tournament.

Nope. When we started the tourney we knew some people would vote one way and others would vote another. It's how all WZ tournaments are. The most important rule in the tourney is to have fun and as long as people are having fun debating and voting then it doesn't matter what criteria they use for the polls.

Are we going to see a Darth Vader vs. Link match?? How about a Darth Vader (w/Ghost Rider) vs. Link (w/Samus)?? I think having “managers” would add to the excitement.

No. The reason we had two brackets was so the more normal heroes and the ones with superpowered could both be included without having any one-sided battles. I mean, someone like Spawn would murder someone like Black Dynamite. It just doesn't work. This way we get two winners and everyone's happy. It's really just a coincidence that the winners of both tourneys could feasibly take each other on.
